Abstract
Narratives for anxiety are a visual approach used to provide predictability for individuals. Narratives for anxiety (based on the Social Story model) aim to inform an individual about what to expect during an event or situation which might be different or new. This narrative for anxiety tells students what to expect when using a "visual conversation" to talk about school likes and dislikes.

Visual conversations can help people with additional needs express their opinions on important subjects. This sytem uses symbols to allow them to share their views on a subject. Open-ended questions guide the discussion, giving individuals the chance to place their answers under specific headings.
