Elicitation Story Transitions (worries about what might change
Abstract
Elicitation Stories can help people with additional needs express their opinions on important subjects. This system, based on the development of “narratives for anxiety”, uses descriptive, perspective, coaching, and affirmative sentences to explore an abstract concept with individuals who might struggle with this. Elicitation Stories can be used as an elicitation tool in combination with data collection tools such as visual conversations, or energy/ regulation meters. This resource provides an example of how an "elicitation story" might look if researchers were asking questions about transitions (worries about what might change).
